State-of-the-art production
For one of our clients, we provide models derived from intra-oral 3D scanners. The us of intra-oral scanning obliviates the need of casting the denture, which subsequently needs to be shipped from dentist to dental lab. Virtual adaptations and preparations are performed in dedicated software, after which the model is 3D printed in dedicated dental resin.
Processing on 3D printed parts
Next, processing happens according to the standard dental laboratory protocol steps which include the application of wax casting in cobalt-chrome alloy and porcelain baking on top.
Finalisation
At the end of the process, the dental bridge is pollished and quality is identical to the original process. However, the result was achieved faster, with lesser material and less patient inconvenience.
